Nel novembre del 2013, BELLEW è fulminato da un KO brutale del haitiano/canadese ADONIS STEVENSON in Quebec. TONY BELLEW ha gli attributi,  e si rimette in gioco.

Sì, BELLEW è quel ragazzotto di 35 anni, che ha concluso la carriera di un eccelso campione inglese DAVID HAYE, alla fine sconquassato e rotto dalle troppe intrepide sfide dai Pesi Cruiser ai Pesi Massimi. DAVID HAYE non si è fatto mancare nulla. Quest’anno ha appeso i guantoni e non gli ho ancora scritto una riga…lo farò, ho amato molto le sue intemperanze sul ring! Molta scenografia e qualche match indimenticabile!

BELLEW, lo vince in due match!

Ora BELLEW ha accettato la difficilissima sfida vs USYK! BELLEW non è mai stato uno struzzo, ha cuore,  questo è il suo credito nei confronti dell’invincibile Peso Cruiser USYK che solo lo scorso agosto, ha vinto tutte le cinture in circolazione,  in quel fantastico torneo dei WBSS e che oggi le rimette in palio con l’inglese di Liverpool.

Ah, piccolo inciso, nel 2008 proprio a Liverpool  l’ucraino vinse nei dilettanti la Medaglia d’Oro per la nazionale dell’Ucraina.
E per puro masochismo ricordo le Olimpiadi di Beijing nel 2008, quando l’ucraino USYK perse ai quarti di finale vs il nostro italiano di Marcianise, CLEMENTE RUSSO,  nei quarti di finale per il titolo Pesi Massimi, arrivato Medaglio Argento  … e poi non bella finale nel Grande Fratello italiano…

Lo scorso agosto 2018,  confesso che avevo riposto, sbagliando forse l’unico pronostico del 2018 non ancora finito, in cui davo per vincente il russo MURAT GASSIEV vs OLEKSANDR USYK,  forse mi piacevano e mi piacciono i suoi 24 anni!

I giovani Campioni emozionano non c’è dubbio, molto più degli esperti…ma più spesso sono gli esperti che vincono e il consumato USYK, oggi 31 anni, con un passato tanto glorioso, olimpionico Medaglia d’Oro 2012 a Londra,  e poi tutta in salita, dal 2013 nei professionisti, 15 match, di cui 11 via KO.

OLEKSANDR USYK ha fermato anche l’incredibile MARCO HUCK, il serbo che risiede in Germania, che ha fatto vacillare il peso massimo russo ALEXANDER POVETKIN!  USYK sistematico, chirurgico, sino alla vetta, al trionfo a Mosca! USYK giù il cappello al miglior Peso Cruiser contemporaneo! Certo tra i migliori della storia.

Un match ibrido quello di questa sera alla MEN Arena di Manchester, ancora tra i Pesi Cruiser ma verso i Pesi Massimi.

Da quella fantastica conquista USYK, ha lasciato la K2 Promotion dei Fratelli Klitchko è sotto contratto con EDDIE HEARN promoter dell’inglese MATCHROOM, la star degli organizzatori mondiali. TONY BELEW è della stessa scuderia.

USYK poche cicatrici, un tecnico strepitoso.  Entrerà con le sue 4 cinture e se gli va anche con il Trofeo Muhammad Ali, senza pensieri. Difficile immaginare che possa perdere…

BELEW è l’ostacolo da abbattere per entrare nella categoria dei Massimi. L’obiettivo di USYK è  ANTHONY JOSHUA.

Non impossibile. È più una questione di stazza. USYK si sta avvicinando gradualmente. È attento a non sbagliare le mosse. La sua carriera può schizzare ancor più in alto nei Pesi Massimi.

Ogni rischio è calcolato. E MATCHROOM, difficilmente sbaglia la traiettoria…

BELLEW, al suo attivo 30 match, 20 vinti via KO, 2 sconfitte di cui una  via KO,  avrà la sua ultima e migliore borsa per la notte di questa sera. Farà di tutto per vincere, è certo.

Il ragazzo ha coraggio. Basta così. Di più non ha. Ma se non hai il coraggio, il pugilato non è per te. Lascia perdere…

In November 2013, BELLEW was struck by a brutal KO of ADONIS STEVENSON in Quebec. BELLEW has the attributes, and gets back into the game. Yes, BELLEW is that 35-year-old boy, who ended the career of a great English champion, DAVID HAYE, who was finally shattered and broken by too many intrepid challenges from the Cruiser to the Heavyweights.

DAVID HAYE didn’t miss anything. This year he hung up his gloves and I have not written a line yet … I will do it, I loved his intemperance in the ring very much! A lot of scenery and some unforgettable fights!

BELLEW, wins HAYE in two fights.

BELLEW now  has accepted the difficult challenge vs USYK! BELLEW has never been a ducker, his heart is his credit to the undefeated Cruiser Weight USYK,  that only last August,  won all the belts circulating in that fantastic tournament of the WBSS.  And that tomorrow night will be on stake  vs the Englishman from Liverpool.

Ah, a little anecdote  in 2008,  in the same Liverpool, the Ukrainian won the Gold Medal for the national team of Ukraine in amateurs.
And for pure masochism I remember the Beijing Olympics in 2008, when the Ukrainian USYK lost to the quarterfinals vs our Italian from Marcianise (Caserta) CLEMENTE RUSSO, in the quarterfinals for the title Heavy Weights, wins the Silver Medal  … not a nice ending in the Italian Big Brother …

Last August 2018, I confess that I had put, wrong perhaps the only prediction of 2018 not yet finished, in which I gave the winner for the Russian MURAT GASSIEV vs OLEKSANDR USYK, maybe I liked and I like his 24 years!

The young champions are thrilled, no doubt, much more than the experts … but more often they are the experts who win, and the consummate USYK, now 31 years old, with a very glorious past, Olympic Gold Medal 2012 in London, and then all uphill, from 2013 in the professionals, 15 fights, 11won via KO.

OLEKSANDR USYK also stopped the incredible MARCO HUCK the Serbian who lives in Germany who has wavered the Russian heavyweight ALEXANDER POVETKIN!

Systematic, surgical USYK, to the top, to the triumph in Moscow! USYK hat off to the best contemporary Cruiser Weight! Certainly among the best in history.
A hybrid fight tomorrow evening at the MEN Arena in Manchester, still the Cruisers Weight  but towards  to the Heavy Weights.
From that fantastic conquest USYK left the K2 Promotion of the Klitschko’s Brothers is now under contract with EDDIE HEARN promoter of English MATCHROOM, the star of the world promoters. TONY BELEW is from the same stable.

USYK few scars, an amazing technician. He will enter with his 4 belts and if he likes show off,  also with the Ali Trophy, without thoughts. Difficult to imagine that he could lose …
