UNA BELLISSIMA NOTIZIA: ISRAELE e HAMAS hanno confermato il cessate il fuoco.
Penso al popolo palestinese, 2 milioni di persone in ostaggio di Hamas, finalmente la prima notte di speranza che la loro vita non sia più in gioco, in balia della guerra. WiWa la Palestina.
Penso agli amici Ebrei così tanto deformati dalla cattiva informazione, finalmente il mondo occidentale ha solidarizzato con il suo Stato:Israele. WiWa Israele.

In Italia non abbiamo ancora avuto a questo momento, evidenti segni del terrorismo islamico estremista, ma siamo tutti abbastanza sicuri della protezione dei nostri militari. Dei nostri soldati, la sicurezza ci viene certo dal senso del loro dovere: difendere la Patria, la Nazione.
Questa è stata la forte motivazione di Giancarlo a rappresentare l’Italia; aveva imparato presto impegno e dovere, ora non doveva essere più tanto difficile superarsi e vincere tra le corde del ring, senza risparmiarsi mai.
La sua riflessione di oggi, a proposto della guerra, dopo tante battaglie sul ring, è lapidaria:
“Ma che intelligenza ha la guerra?
Ma chi vuole la guerra?
È solo avidità, vanità di uomini politici. Il mio consiglio per la miglior gioventù è lo sport del pugilato, per ritrovare i valori etici necessari a combattere le difficoltà della crescita e diventare persone migliori”.
Sentenzia mio padre: “Il pugilato è violento, ma la violenza non è pugilato”.
È così diventato il sottotitolo del mio libro, del mio audiolibro, del mio docu-film

I think of the Palestinian people, 2 million people held hostage by Hamas, finally the first night of hope that their life is no longer at stake, at the mercy of war. WiWa Palestine.
I think of the Jewish friends so deformed by bad information, finally the Western world has solidarized with its State: Israel. WiWa Israel.

“In Italy we have not yet had evident signs of extremist Islamic terrorism, but we are all quite sure of the protection of our military. About our soldiers, security certainly comes from the sense of their duty: to defend the homeland, the nation.
This was Giancarlo’s strong motivation to represent Italy; he had soon learned commitment and duty, now it shouldn’t be so difficult to overcome and win between the ring’s rope, without ever sparing himself.
The reflection of him today, about the war, after many battles in the ring, is lapidary:
“But what intelligence does war have?
But who wants war?
It’s just greed, the vanity of politicians. My advice for the best youth is the sport of boxing, to rediscover the ethical values necessary to fight the difficulties of growth and become better people ”.
My father says: “Boxing is violent, but violence isn’t boxing”.
It has thus become the subtitle of my book, my audiobook, my docu-film.
