Paladina della cultura sportiva non posso sorvolare.
“L’Ucraina ha stabilito che i suoi atleti non parteciperanno alle qualificazioni olimpiche di Parigi 2024 in presenza di russi. Il paese ha riferito che più di 260 atleti con ambizioni olimpiche sono stati uccisi a causa dell’invasione di Vladimir Putin, con più di 360 impianti sportivi distrutti.”
Sino a quando UCRAINA e RUSSIA non hanno concluso la negoziazione di Pace alle condizioni che porrà l’UCRAINA quale nazione aggredita, sia gli atleti russi che bielorussi, dovrebbero rimanere fuori da ogni competizione Olimpica e qualsiasi competizione atletica.
Impossibile per gli atleti russi e bielorussi rimanere neutrali se poi devi tornare a casa in Russia…o Bielorussia. Lo capisce anche un bambino…Se sei un atleta la bandiera è l’orgoglio che difendi.
E qui non mi riferisco solo al Pugilato dove comunque l’organizzazione IBA o ex-AIBA è esclusa dai Giochi di Parigi e così di Los Angeles 2028. E una nuova organizzazione sta per nascere.
La neutralità nello Sport non esiste. E come ho già ripetutamente scritto lo Sport non è un’isola dove la politica non esiste, non ha voce.
Dire che lo Sport è al disopra della politica non è corretto. Gli atleti delle rispettive nazioni hanno diritto al voto in ogni nazione che rappresentano.
La guerra è un fenomeno perverso, il più distruttivo che l’uomo possa creare, in termini di ferocia, morte e distruzione di vite umane e atrocità…che non può l’Olimpiade festeggiare la partecipazione o la vincita delle gesta degli atleti di Russia e Bielorussia.
Non ha senso dare l’opportunità a chi appartiene a Russia e Bielorussia di vincere le medaglie alle Olimpiadi…Non c’è nulla di cui essere orgogliosi provenendo da quelle nazioni.
Ma anzi i medagliati saranno merce di propaganda e per la Russia e per la Bielorussia.
Spiace per quegli atleti russi e bielorussi se davvero contro la guerra in Ucraina, una soluzione ci sarebbe… la butto lì: chiedano asilo politico ad altre nazioni che davvero rispecchiano il loro volere.
A quelle nazioni che sono contro la follia della Russia di Putin. Non vedo altro modo.
Un tempo i dissidenti russi, ai tempi di Stalin se non scappavano dalla Russia…subivano persecuzioni in patria.
E poi contro l’intervento russo in Afghanistan, come non ricordare il grande fisico SAKAROV che nel 1975 fu premiato con il Nobel per la Pace – lui che aveva concepito l’ordigno più potente, 1500 volte più devastante della bomba atomica- per avere reso evidente come: “l’inviolabilità dei diritti umani offra l’unica vera base per una cooperazione internazionale autentica e duratura”.
Una scoperta clamorosa certo, in questo modo sia l’attaccante che l’attaccato si eliminano a vicenda. Impensabile dunque l’utilizzo.
Sakarov nel 1980 fu arrestato mentre partecipava a una manifestazione contro l’intervento militare dell’Unione Sovietica in Afghanistan.
Dal 1988, il Premio Sakharov per la libertà di pensiero viene assegnato dal Parlamento Europeo per riconoscere il lavoro di organizzazioni e personalità nel campo della difesa e della promozione dei diritti umani.
Nel corso degli anni, il premio è stato assegnato a numerose personalità come Nelson Mandela, Malala Yousafzai e ai leader dell’opposizione in Venezuela.
ALEKSEI NAVALNY il dissidente russo già avvelenato è rinchiuso in un carcere dal 2021, in cella d’isolamento, lasciarlo morire senza infrangere la legge…questa basta a Putin e ai suoi sostenitori per non sentirsi colpevoli agli occhi del mondo.
Non c’è Pace senza Guerra. La Liberta, la Pace come già in passato ho evidenziato è un processo che passa per la carneficina, è un mattatatoio di vite innocenti come vediamo ormai da 14 mesi in Ucraina, è duro da scrivere ma nell’evolversi della storia umana questo è il costo della Pace.
Ho sempre condiviso le posizioni del CIO, di Thomas Bach, ma ora mi sfugge il perchè della sua posizione di inserire gli atleti russi e bielorussi ai Giochi Olimpici Parigi 2024.
Forse perché immagina che la guerra possa presto concludersi?
Seriamente preoccupata, di quale neutralità per gli atleti russi e bielorussi parla il CIO Thomas Bach?

Paladin of sporting culture I can’t overlook.

The country has reported that more than 260 athletes with Olympic ambitions have been killed as a result of Vladimir Putin’s invasion, with more than 360 sports venues destroyed.”
Until UKRAINE and RUSSIA have concluded the Peace negotiation on the conditions that will place UKRAINE as the attacked nation, both Russian and Belarusian athletes should remain out of any Olympic competition and any athletic competition.
Impossible for Russian and Belarusian athletes to stay neutral if they then have to go home to Russia…or Belarus. Even a child understands it… If you are an athlete, the flag is the pride you defend.
And here I am not referring only to Boxing where in any case the IBA or ex-AIBA organization is excluded from the Paris Games and thus from Los Angeles 2028. And a new organization is about to be born.
Neutrality in sports does not exist. And as I have repeatedly written, Sport is not an island where politics doesn’t exist, it has no voice.
To say that Sport is above politics is incorrect. Athletes from their respective nations are entitled to vote in each nation they represent.
War is a perverse phenomenon, the most destructive that man can create, in terms of ferocity, death, and destruction of human lives and atrocities…
The Olympics cannot celebrate the participation or winning of the exploits of the athletes of Russia and Belarus.
It makes no sense to give the opportunity to those who belong to Russia and Belarus to win medals at the Olympics… There is nothing to be proud of coming from those countries.
On the contrary, the medalists will be propaganda goods both for Russia and Belarus.
Sorry for those Russian and Belarusian athletes, if they really are against the war in Ukraine, there would be a solution… I’m trying: to ask for political asylum from other nations that really reflect their will.

Freedom, Peace as I already highlighted in the past is a process that passes through the carnage, it is a slaughterhouse of innocent lives as we have been seeing for 14 months now in Ukraine, it’s hard to write but in the evolution of humans history, this is the cost of Peace.
I have always shared the positions of the IOC, of Thomas Bach, but now the reason for his position to include Russian and Belarusian athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games puzzles me.
Perhaps because he imagines that the war may soon be over?
I’m seriously concerned, what neutrality for Russian and Belarusian athletes is the IOC Thomas Bach talking about?
