Qualche passo indietro per portarvi all’evento di domani notte.
Dopo che l’inglese LENNOX LEWIS si ritirò, tutte le cinture passano nelle mani dei fratelli KLITSCHKO. Non si unificarono per ovvie ragioni, -la Mamma non avrebbe gradito- ma quando VITALI si ritirò nel 2012, WLADIMIR è stato il solo vero campione, ossia “l’Uomo” e ha iniziato una nuova linea di campioni nella categoria dei Pesi Massimi.
Quando TYSON FURY nel 2015 ha battuto WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO ha concluso un’era ed è diventato “l’Uomo” allo stesso modo come era stato WLADIMIR.
Così FURY viene riconosciuto come campione lineare, giacché gli strappò vincendo tutte le cinture in una notte…buia e tempestosa….Si trattava di tutti i titoli immaginabili che hanno valore: WBA, WBO, IBF, la rivista THE RING,….va beh anche IBO.
Il titolo lineare, quindi con tutte le cinture in palio, può essere perso solo sul ring o per ritiro permanente. Alcuni potrebbero obiettare che FURY lo ha perso quando ha annunciato il suo ritiro nel 2016.

FURY era il ragazzo più cattivo del mondo! Abbastanza disgustoso e odiava tutti. È molto cambiato da quella notte del match che fu oltremodo noioso… Avevo etichettato come solo una notte NO, per WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO. Non proprio, era il preludio del fine carriera.
Ve l’ho già raccontato, e tutti i fans della boxe lo sanno, dopo quella notte a lui gloriosa era passato alla droga e poi fu assalito dalla depressione, TYSON “gypsy king” FURY non riusciva a gestire la gloria.
Ma sino a quella notte vs WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO era lui l’Uomo che ha battuto l’Uomo. Quindi il campione lineare.
Da quando è entrato in scena TYSON FURY, direi davvero protagonista nel 2015 appunto dopo la vittoria vs WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO, ne ha combinate così tante, nel male toccando squallide vette, e così nel bene, con la sua resurrezione…che non sembrano essere trascorsi solo poco più di 4 anni…e stupisce che FURY, 31 anni, sia più giovane di WILDER, 34 anni.
