Quei Bravi Ragazzi della Grande Boxe! I nostri migliori Pugili Italiani contemporanei sono entrambi nei Pesi Super Gallo. Entrambi 26 anni, tutti e due vicini alla conferma della corona Europea.
Più precisamente: LUCA RIGOLDI di Vicenza è già detentore della Cintura EBU -European Boxing Union – della categoria Super Gallo, e difenderà il suo titolo il prossimo 25 Aprile vs il francese ANTHONY SETTEOU, 32 anni, al PalaSport San Filippo di Brescia.
Mentre IULIANO GALLO – calabrese residente a Varese sfiderà il francese TERRY LE COUVIOUR il prossimo 4 Maggio al Pala Insubria di Varese.
Per LUCA RIGOLDI sarà il 21 match da pro. Vinti 19. Vinti via KO n. 8. Perso n.1. Pari n. 1
Per IULIANO GALLO sarà il 11match da pro. Vinti 9. Vinti via KO n.3. Persi 2.
Ambedue hanno iniziato nei pro, nel 2015.
Nessuno di questi due atleti ha la personalità da personaggio. Quella maschera che incuriosisce il pubblico più vasto, oltre agli hardcore del palato fino della Nobile Arte.

LUCA RIGOLDI si esprime al meglio sul ring. E i suoi risultati parlano da sé, in quattro anni dal debutto ha conquistato il titolo Italiano ed Europeo.
Fuori le corde RIGOLDI è il bravo ragazzo, l’amabile vicino di casa.
Il suo maestro Gino Freo, eccellenza tra gli allenatori italiani, gli ha insegnato il mestiere, come fa un padre con un figlio. RIGOLDI, non fa nulla di sbagliato. È perfetto e per bene. È uno di quei ragazzi nati uomini. Mai un errore di quelli che fanno i ragazzi…È atleta, figlio, fidanzato modello. Nulla da ridire. Un esempio.
Possibile che LUCA non abbia un motto interno che ci riveli la sua personalità…?
Ha ambizione, sogni grandi ma li trattiene, continua a macinare km tra la casa di Vicenza e la palestra a Piove di Sacco -Padova, avanti e indietro quotidianamente, e contemporaneamente fa l’operaio. Cosa serve aver conquistato il Titolo Europeo con tanta determinazione e tanti sacrifici, se poi come un comune mortale, devi alzarti all’alba per andare a fare l’operaio, anziché pianificare le tue giornate in allenamenti, ritiri, e match con avversari sempre più validi?
Credo che a Vicenza, non si siano resi conto del talento che hanno in casa…Forse nemmeno il suo manager che non sa trovargli uno sponsor. Il calcio non è l’unico sport, e non dovrebbe esserlo. Ieri per caso, ho incontrato i responsabili del calcio vicentino ho suggerito: “Avete un pugile di talento: LUCA RIGOLDI, perché non lo festeggiate con una grande entrata nella prossima partita di calcio nella vostra città?” Anche semplici gesti aiutano il Fighter…
IULIANO GALLO, ama la boxe, e vuole raggiungere la vetta. La rabbia e la fame gli soffiano sul collo. Il suo allenatore Augusto Lauri, abruzzese trapiantato a Varese, deve stimolarlo a fare la boxe con la stessa passione e divertimento con cui ha iniziato. Deve assicurarsi che IULIANO abbia vicino un nutrizionista. Non è una tortura fare il pugile…Ma è una vocazione. GALLO ha la vocazione. È un ragazzo sensibile. Può diventare grande o avvilirsi perché un pugile se non ha l’entourage giusto cade nello sconforto.
È insospettabile la fragilità delle giovani promesse. Se è vero che la boxe forma il carattere, il carattere non può essere avvilito senza sostanzioso riconoscimento.
Anche qui, dopo il titolo dell’Unione Europea che il nostro GALLO certo innalzerà e poi si cingerà la vita con la cintura del titolo con gli occhi lucidi. Subito il suo manager deve trovare lo sponsor.
Cari miei Bravi Ragazzi della Grande Boxe, disciplina e lavoro duro per portare a casa i risultati. Sono match a voi possibili ma mai dare nulla per garantito.
Con la cintura EBU si devono aprire scenari concreti sia per RIGOLDI che per GALLO e finalmente riempire quella borsa in palio di quattrini, perché conquistato il Titolo Europeo un Campione di Boxe, dovrebbe incassare abbastanza da sponsor e TV per mantenersi e verificare altre proposte per altri titoli di sigle, come ad esempio, proporsi di far parte al fantastico torneo WBSS – World Boxing Super Series – per il Trofeo Muhammad Ali per i Pesi Gallo, seguito in tutto il mondo.
Come mai nessuno dei due italiani si è candidato a questo prestigioso torneo?

I rispettivi manager sanno di aver e tra le mani validi campioni che possono solo esplodere se ben instradati? Mi piace tirare le orecchie ai manager, perchè hanno il dovere oltre di proteggere, di arricchire i loro clienti…Altrimenti si finisce sempre e solo in pizzeria…Non è una gran prospettiva per un Campione di Boxe.

Insomma dopo queste conferme dei prossimi match, entrambi saranno campioni Europei. Si, do per scontata la vincita- li conosco bene entrambi e sono tutte e due ad alta tensione, spettacolare velocità. Entrambi resistenza sino all’ultimo secondo dell’ultimo round. Con tutta la forza della gioventù e la volontà di riscatto che è il biglietto da visita di ogni giovane talento del nostro Sport: la Boxe.
Quella “fame”, quell’ambizione trattenuta, che se trascende rende l’Italia Pugilistica orgogliosa di due Pugili/Operai. Perché il grande match, quello vero per la Storia, certo dopo essersi misurati nel torneo WBSS, la migliore disputa entro i loro 30 anni è: LUCA RIGOLDI vs IULIANO GALLO II.
Sarà l’incontro tra due grandi avversari che hanno le stesse opportunità di mostrare chi tra loro due è il migliore. In modo più decisivo che un punto risicato da una parte e dall’altra come è accaduto nel 1° match.
I loro primo match lo scorso 10 12 2016, entrambi 24 anni, è entrato nella mia classifica annuale come MATCH SORPRESA DELL’ANNO, tutto Italiano: LUCA RIGOLDI vs IULIANO GALLO titolo pesi Super Gallo, una tempesta di adrenalina per tutti i 12 round.
Tutto è possibile nella Boxe.
C’è certo anche la veneta 34 enne SILVIA BORTOT fresca campionessa titolo Europeo Pesi Super Leggeri dallo scorso gennaio – vedi mio blog rimbalzato su tutti i media- ma non si hanno notizie di difesa del titolo al momento.
Bisogna muoversi con la BORTOT perché il tempo degli anni migliori vola, e deve prendere tutto ciò che di buono c’è, rischiando adesso tutto il suo sogno. Continuo nella mia proposta di match maker: la nostra SILVIA BORTOT dovrebbe vedersela vs la 34enne argentina ERICA ANABELLA FARIAS, veterana esperta, che ha sostenuto 10 round con le migliori vedi BREAKHUS e McCASKILL.
Certamente a Milano sarebbe un match tra due eccellenti professioniste.
BORTOT deve assolutamente vincere la FARIAS, e subito dopo negoziare vs JESSICA McCASKILL anche lei 34 anni e detentrice della prestigiosa cintura WBC dei Pesi Super Leggeri che ha strappato proprio alla FARIAS, e andare a combattere a casa sua a Chicago, dove c’è una marea di Italo/Americani che si compreranno tutte le prime file e scandiranno il suo nome.
È una gran responsabilità provare a vincere negli USA…ma che serve aspettare?
Come resistere a certe tentazioni? Se fai la Pugile, ti piace il rischio. E sei discendente amazzone, del dio della guerra… la storia è ricca di donne abili nell’arte della guerra.

Our best contemporary Italian boxers are both in the Super Bantam Weights. Both 26 years old, both close to confirming the European crown.

His trainer Gino Freo, an excellence among Italian coaches, taught him the trade, as does a father with a son. RIGOLDI doesn’t do anything wrong. It is perfect and for good. He is one of those boys born men. Never a mistake of those guys do … He’s an athlete, a son, a model boyfriend. Nothing to say. An example.
Possible that LUCA does not have an internal motto that reveals its personality to us …?
RIGOLDI has ambition, big dreams but he holds them back, he continues to grind km between the house of Vicenza and the gym in Piove di Sacco – Padua, back and forth every day, and at the same time he is a worker. The respective managers know that they have and in their hands valid champions who can only explode if well routed? I like to pull the ears of the managers, because they have the duty to protect, to enrich their customers … Otherwise we end up always and only in pizzeria … It is not a great prospect for a Boxing Champion.

So after these confirmations of the next fights, both will be European champions. Yes, I take the winnings for granted – I know them both well and they are both at high voltage, spectacular speed. Both has stamina until the last second of the last round. With all the strength of youth and the desire for redemption which is the calling card of every young talent of our Sport: Boxing.
That “hunger”, that restrained ambition, which if transcended makes Italian Boxing proud of two Boxers / Workers. Because the great fight, the real one for History, certainly after having measured in the WBSS tournament, the best dispute within their 30s is: LUCA RIGOLDI vs IULIANO GALLO II.
