L’OLOCAUSTO A KIEV

VITALI KLITSCHKO, Sindaco di Kiev, oggi alle 12:00 questo importante messaggio che ci dice ancora di più sulla Storia dell’Ucraina.

“Oggi commemoriamo i 6 milioni di vittime dell’Olocausto. Persone che sono state distrutte.
Il mondo ricorda 6 milioni di vite stroncate. E ricorda uno dei terribili simboli dell’Olocausto: Babyn Yar, situato a Kiev.
In due anni di occupazione della capitale durante la seconda guerra mondiale, la maggior parte delle persone torturate erano ebrei che vivevano a Kiev e dintorni.
A seguito dell’Olocausto durante la seconda guerra mondiale, circa 1,5 milioni di ebrei furono uccisi nel territorio della moderna Ucraina.
Noi ricordiamo…
E insieme onoriamo le vittime innocenti. E insieme condanniamo i crimini del regime nazista, ricordando che l’Olocausto è un male commesso dalle persone. Più precisamente, quelli che si consideravano tali.
Sfortunatamente, vediamo che non tutti hanno imparato la lezione della storia. Ancora una volta, il male cerca di distruggere un’intera nazione. La Russia sta commettendo crimini sul suolo ucraino che il mondo non vedeva dalla seconda guerra mondiale. Uccide ucraini pacifici, cancella le nostre città e villaggi dalla terra.
Solo la giustizia e la punizione dei criminali daranno al mondo la possibilità di fermare tragedie come l’Olocausto e il genocidio, le guerre e il terrorismo.
L’Ucraina insiste sulla giustizia! Punire la Russia per tutti i suoi crimini, per ogni vita tolta, per ogni infanzia rubata.
Resistendo all’aggressione russa e al regime di Putin, gli ucraini stanno facendo di tutto per sconfiggere il male. Lottiamo per i valori più alti e per la nostra libertà. Perché l’Olocausto non si ripeta. Né per gli ebrei, né per i tatari di Crimea, né per gli ucraini. Mai e per nessuno…
E le candele accendono oggi in memoria di ogni vittima dell’Olocausto, di ogni Giusto delle nazioni del mondo. Per innocenti vite pacifiche…”
