Se esce dall’arena politica, del razzismo, dell’America vs Russia…e ci sarà invece un verdetto giusto, sportivo: ANDRE “Son of God” WARD vs SERGEY “the Krusher” KOVALEV 2°, può essere il match dell’anno! Questo 2017 già ricco di grandi sfide, vedi JOSHUA vs KLITSCHKO e i prossimi, MANNY PACQUIAO vs JEFF HORN, e così  GENNADY “GGG” GOLOVKIN vs SAUL “canelo” ALVAREZ. Il rematch, di domani sera, tra l’americano e il russo, è valido per le cinture WBA-WBO-IBF pesi Massimi Leggeri.

In conferenza stampa, i Campioni sono apparsi tutti e due in gran forma, WARD con questo match è tornato ad essere attivo come non lo si vedeva dallo strepitoso campionato, dei SuperSix, nei Super Medi. Ora, ANDRE WARD, tornato nei Massimi Leggeri, stessa categoria con cui ha conquistato l’Oro Olimpico ad Atene 2004, darà sicuro una performance di grande stile. WARD, carattere schivo, cordiale, ma chiuso, riservato. Poco rischio, ma assoluto padrone d’immensa tecnica. KOVALEV farà la parte dello sfidante a cui sono stati saccheggiati tre Titoli di Cinture.

Quel verdetto a favore dell’americano, con un pesante KO di KOVALEV al 2° round, non è accettabile da nessun punto di vista sportivo, quel verdetto di vittoria ai punti sentenziato a favore dell’americano, lo scorso novembre 2016, sul ring della T-Mobile arena di Las Vegas. Quel 1° match ha lasciato a molti l’amaro in bocca. Lo scrissi qua nel mio stesso Blog. Ma i verdetti si accettano, anche quando sono ingiusti.

Dunque KOVALEV è incazzato, lui che ha combattuto dalla sua nativa Russia al Sudafrica, in Germania, in India e si è stabilito in Florida negli USA, dal primo momento in cui è diventato professionista. Ha combattuto nel Regno Unito e ancora vittorioso, sempre in Canada. Ha conquistato il titolo de IL FIGHTER dell’ Anno 2014. Oggi è molto arrabbiato, per quel verdetto partigiano, alll’americano.

Chiunque nei suoi panni, lo sarebbe! Quella stessa rabbia lo aiuterà, darà lui, quell’ulteriore adrenalina necessaria per imporsi; credo che farà in modo che il giudizio dei giudici sia irrilevante… KOVALEV, zittirà ogni dubbio prima del limite, via KO?! Ci credo, può essere. O sfinirà l’avversario WARD, sino alla resa, via TKO!

Non credo WARD incasserà tutto, perdendo ai punti. Lo stile aggressivo e pressante, la mano pesante di KOVALEV non dovrebbe deludere. La classe e la grande difesa di WARD, sono le armi di cui è maestro è così che si è imposto vincente, e così ha smarcato un’intera generazione nei grandi professionisti nella categoria dei Super Medi.

Questa rivincita promette di essere ancora meglio del primo match. E’ certo l’incontro più significativo dell’anno, per determinare il migliore p4p, il Campione dei Campioni di Boxe dell’anno!

E poi, non ultimo il match tra il cubano GUILLERMO “el chacal” RIGONDEAUX vs il messicano MOSES FLORES per la cintura WBA dei Super Gallo. La superiorità di quel talento naturale de El Chacal, è una sfida già vinta…prevedo.

Se i Campioni dovessero essere pagati per il loro talento, domani sera al MANDALAY BAY DI LAS VEGAS…. sbancano!

This 2017 already seen great challenges. See JOSHUA vs KLITSCHKO, and the next, MANNY “pacman” PACQUIAO vs JEFF HORN and so GENNADY “GGG” GOLOVKIN vs SAUL “canelo” ALVAREZ.

Tomorrow night, the rematch, between the American and Russian, is valid for WBA-WBO-IBF Light Heavyweight Belts. At the press conference, both Champions appeared in great shape. Ward hasn’t been this active since the Super Six, we will probably get a sharper performance. Now, ANDRE WARD, back in the Light Heavyweight, same division as he won the 2004 Olympic Gold Medal in Athens, will surely deliver a great boxing lessons. WARD, reserved personality, friendly, but closed. He takes just little risk, but he is absolute a master of immense technique. KOVALEV will be play the part of the challenger, to whom have been plundered, three Belts.

That verdict in favor of the American, with a heavy KO of KOVALEV at the 2nd round, is not acceptable from any sporting point of view, that verdict of victory at the points sentenced on November 2016 in the ring of the T-Mobile arena of Las Vegas. That 1st fight, left many bitter mouths. I also wrote it, here in my Blog. But verdicts must be accepted, even when they are not fair. So KOVALEV is pissed off… he fought from his native Russia to South Africa, Germany, India, and settled in Florida in the US from the very first moment he became a professional. He fought in the UK and still victorious, as well in Canada.

He has won the title of THE FIGHTER of the Year, in 2014. Today he is very angry, for that partisan verdict in favor of the American. Whoever would be, in his place! That same anger will help him, he will give him that additional adrenaline, necessary to impose himself. I think he will make the judgment of the judges irrelevant … KOVALEV, will clear up any doubt before the limit, via KO?! I believe it may be. Or it will make the opponent WARD disappear, to the rescue, via TKO!

I don’t think WARD will get all the punishment, losing on points. The aggressive and pressing style, KOVALEV’s heavy hand, should not disappoint. WARD’s class and defense are the weapons he is a master, as he imposed himself as a Gold Medal at the Athens Olympics and so he smashed a whole generation in the Super Middle division.

This rematch, promises to be even better than the first match. It is certainly the most significant event of the year, to determine the best p4p, of the Year!

And last but not least, the match between the Cuban GUILLERMO “el chacal” RIGONDEAUX vs. the Mexican MOSES FLORES for the Super Bantam WBA Belt. The superiority of that natural talent of El Chacal, is a challenge already won … I expect.

If the Champions were to be paid for their talent, tomorrow night at MANDALAY BAY OF LAS VEGAS …. it break out fights!
