FURY vs USYK rinviato il match Pesi Massimi più atteso del XXI secolo
Il Campione di Boxe TYSON FURY detentore della Cintura WBC dei Pesi Massimi si è tagliato appena sopra l’occhio destro durante una sessione di sparring in palestra.
TURKI ALALASHIKH a capo dell’Autorità Generale e dell’Intrattenimento in Saudi Arabia ha annunciato la cancellazione del match.
E così il match più atteso e per la 2° volta rinviato, sempre in occasione delle Attività di Intrattenimento a Riyadh la prima lo scorso 23 dicembre ora il prossimo 17 febbraio.
Se non venisse confermata la sostituzione con lo sfidante obbligatorio imbattuto dell’IBF FILIP HRGOVIC, che avrebbe già dovuto combattere il vincitore tra FURY vs USYK, la notte di boxe del 17 febbraio è definitivamente cancellata.
Mancano solo tre settimane, e credo che molto probabilmente verrà cancellato tutto l’evento di quella notte di boxe.
Grande notte di pugilato con investimento da centinaia di milioni in ballo…e dunque via anche tutto il sottoclou. Si annunciava davvero una notte ricca di talenti a confronto. E nulla, 17 febbraio è annullato.
Già questo è il rischio degli sport individuali.
La Boxe senza dubbio lo è, anche se c’è una squadra di tecnici all’angolo, ma chi sale sul ring è uno solo e dunque fuori uso uno, sono fuori tutti. Niente panchine…mai. Solo uno sgabello all’angolo per 60″ di respiro, tra un round e l’altro.
Spero che OLKSANDR USYK combatta senza attendere la guarigione di TYSON FURY, intanto che l’Autorità di Riyad trovi una terza data, perché quel match deve assolutamente avvenire, per decretare l’unico Campione della Categoria dei Pesi Massimi, quella dei giganti!
USYK deve combattere per non stare lontano dai suo pubblico, per mantenere alta la fiducia in sè, per confermare la sua grandezza.
Insomma non deve stare al ritmo di FURY, prima capriccioso, poi troppo zelante ha quasi perso contro il camerunese, di cittadinanza francese, uno sconosciuto di nome FRANCIS NGANNOU pensando di far spettacolo, invece NGANNOU non ha perso l’occasione per confermare la sua determinazione al suo primo approccio, al suo primo match di Boxe.
NGANNOU che viene dal MMA…MMA che io non considero in nessun modo quale sport. E con quel match si è conquistato la fiducia degli organizzatori tanto che il prossimo 8 marzo combatterà vs. ANTHONY JOSHUA, sempre a Riyadh, in Saudi Arabia.
E mi viene subito in mente quel epico match, 8 marzo del 1971 al Madison Square Garden, NY, dove l’immenso JOE FRAZIER, in un incontro indimenticabile, con il suo potente gancio sinistro mise al tappeto MUHAMMAD ALI che rialzatosi barcollando, perse nettamente ai punti.
Il titolo dell’evento di quella notte sensazionale fu: “Il Match del Secolo”.
Peccato che quei mostri inesperti del MIC, abbiano negato il supporto necessario, il riconoscimento e così il supporto economico al mio docufilm EMOZIONI DI VIAGGI NELLA BOXE SENZA TEMPO- La Storia Non Si Cancella. E quanta Cultura Sportiva nello stesso…
Lo stesso docufilm, selezionato al Festival di Cannes, poi tutto il Festival cancellato per la pandemia. E il Mostro di Venezia a dar spazio a falsità, anzichè riconoscermi il dovuto spazio. E li il burattinaio è sempre lo stesso. Eh così…”Tiremm inanz ” disse Amatore Sciesa prima di salire sul patibolo…
Ma oggi la Giustizia c’è! Attendo la sua voce forte e chiara. Dovrei sentirla a breve.
E dunque tornando all’8 Marzo di Riyadh, non sarà possibile nessun paragone, se non la data, di quella notte indimenticabile di 52 anni fa.
E invece non ci resta che attendere la nuova data della notte di boxe più bramata di questo 21°secolo, FURY vs USYK, e anche la più sfarzosa, ricca, e di questi anni, la più avvincente, considerato la storia che precede chi prima di loro ha scolpito la categoria dei Pesi Massimi.
Appassionati di tutto il mondo, FURY e USYK meritano tutta la nostra pazienza, intanto godiamoci gli eventi in arrivo così entusiasmanti che non ci fanno attendere.
I guerrieri scolpiscono la storia e non si fanno sfuggire l’attimo…

FURY vs USYK postponed the most awaited Heavyweight fight of the 21st century
Boxing Champion TYSON FURY, the holder of the WBC Heavyweight Belt, cut himself just above his right eye during a sparring session in the gym.
