Penso che se nel contratto tra WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO e ANTHONY JOSHUA c’è la clausola del rematch- chiunque avesse vinto- è perché WLAD ha avuto ben chiara la visione, quale consumato protagonista, comunque sarebbe andata tra loro, ci sarebbe stata una seconda opportunità. Per quanto ho seguito WlLAD in questi anni, sempre…sono certa si rimette in gioco. Non certo per i quattrini, comunque sempre una pila di milioni, ma è così già tanto ricco! È che l’ucraino WLAD, è un guerriero con un orgoglio infinito. Insomma un leone nel mezzo del cammino della vita, ancora troppo sicuro, certo di poter accettare qualsiasi sfida, troppo combattente per accovacciarsi a mirare l’orizzonte, anche con una bella famiglia alle spalle. No, non è sazio. È il mio pensiero, in tutta autonomia.
Se WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO esce di scena dopo 10 anni di incontrastato regno nei pesi massimi, così come è uscito dal Wembley lo scorso 29 aprile con 90.000 spettatori e 150 TV, la storia l’ha scolpita e non dallo scorso aprile, ma in decine di arene affollate, e milioni di spettatori in TV, infuocando d’entusiasmo e sempre con la grande classe che ha distinto, entrambi i fratelli KLITSCHKO. Hanno ridato l’alto profilo, quel appeal che da sempre caratterizza la Grande Boxe.
I cialtroni hanno ricevuto sonore lezioni di fair play. Il dubbio per chi conosce il “sentimento” della boxe, le incertezze del grande guerriero, il dibattito tra il genio e il campione è: davvero ha qualcosa di più da dimostrare a 41 anni? NO. Certo che NO. Ma sento l’eco del vento infilarsi nella criniera del re della foresta, che ha costruito il suo impero con tanta meticolosità, affrontando dure scommesse, prima di tutto con la sua fragilità emotiva dei primi anni. No adesso che è tutto alle spalle, ora, che hai dato tanto alla boxe, e sei stato ricambiato con una carriera stellare, il dibattito tra il genio e il campione, comunque la si vuoi mettere, e quello scavare incessante nella mente, fischia, urla la volontà di vincere; temo di sapere cosa si aggira nella testa prima della tempesta: non puoi uscire di scena così…
É un verdetto sospeso quello lasciato a Wembley, non hai giocato al meglio le tue carte. Il tuo genio non si è manifestato completamente, alla massima espressione. Eppure quella è stata tra le migliori occasioni. È sempre stato così nella tua carriera, se qualcuno, quella sera in gran forma, in mirabile performance ti ha messo al tappeto- vedi CORRIE SANDERS e LAMON BREWSTER- è per la tua incertezza, ogni tanto quella fragilità, così inaspettata nella tua spettacolare presenza scenica; come elegantemente hai sempre offerto, ti ha fregato, a ricordarci che sei umano, e così umile, e con sforzo, sino a trascendere i tuoi limiti, non dei comuni mortali, ma del grande campione forgiato, quale sei, che viene solo dalla grande volontà e tenacia; hai riacquistato fede in te, e sei tornato indomito protagonista, per lunghi anni.
Ti sei rialzato, più forte di prima. Non mancherò alla celebrazione, comunque vada, il passaggio dello scettro a l’inglese ANTHONY JOSHUA, perché questa è davvero l’ultima chance per chiudere in bellezza, o solo per chiudere una meravigliosa carriera.
