CAZZOTTI PER LA CINTURA DONNE WBC PESI MEDI REGINA ELISABETTA II

Questa notte in palio la cintura dei Pesi Medi WBC dedicato a Regina Elisabetta II

Un grande trofeo per affermare la grandezza, la potenza delle donne.

E così mi aspetto una serata di Donne dal temperamento che round dopo round si surriscalda…

All’Arena 02 di Londra appena prima dell’evento principale che culmina al solito intorno a mezzanotte, ci sarà l’incontro di altre due meravigliose contendenti, la campionessa WBO, IBF e Ring Magazine, la 32enne americana del Colorado MIKAELA MAYER e dal Michigan la 28enne campionessa WBC ALYCIA BAUMGARDNER.  Match valido per l’unificazione del Titolo dei Pesi Leggeri Junior.

Impossibile solo qualche anno fa pensare ad una notte così ricca di sole donne e concentrate nel main event.

La strada l’hanno tracciata e aperta formidabili pioniere il cui racconto merita davvero uno spazio che qua non basta.

È uno stadio cult la O2 Arena, ho assistito a straordinari match…e per riempirla ci vogliono contendenti di valore.

L’incontro di stasera era già in programma lo scorso 15 ottobre,  è stato cancellato come qualsiasi evento nel Regno Unito per onorare il lutto nazionale, per la scomparsa della Regina Elisabetta II.

Non deve essere stato per nulla facile essere Regina e per 70 anni, tra tanti uomini.

L’ossequio di tutto il mondo è stato così grandioso che anche i più ferventi repubblicani di ogni parte del mondo, non potevano non omaggiare la postura di Elisabetta II, riferimento regale, umano e sociale. La nobiltà è quella virtù rara che viene dal cuore…Non solo dallo scettro e corona.

Questa considerazione mi è sufficiente per paragonare la conquista delle ragazze del pugilato a battersi da donne, in un’arena sede di tanti match di prestigio. Certo soprattutto grandi match tra superstar maschili.

Questa sera la statunitense CLARESSA SHIELDS vs SAVANNAH MARSHALL, inglese.

Capiamoci bene, nessuno meglio degli uomini sul Ring rappresentano l’eroe in battaglia.

Ma le donne quelle dotate di quella severità interiore, allenate per battersi per il raggiungimento del massimo confronto nell’incontro fisico, e così azzardare tattiche di azione ragionate in ripetuti pensieri, allenamenti ossessivi, si sottopongono egualmente a regole assolute. Come gli uomini.

Necessaria la potenza, la resistenza, l’adattabilità. Il coraggio.

Ci sono altri requisiti che solo apparentemente sembrano più “deboli”: classe, fairplay e rispetto. Queste ultime sono quelle che conquistano proprio tutto il mondo. Sei hai fatto tue sia le une che le altre, sei nell’Olimpo delle Fuoriclasse. Dei Fuoriclasse.

Diventare fuoriclasse non è proprio da tutte…e non ci sono paragoni che tengono. Battersi da fuoriclasse è essere uniche. O unici. Nell’uno e nell’altro caso non c’è paragone tra maschi e femmine. Ogni mondo ha la sua unicità e per fortuna diversità.

Mi aspetto una notte un po’ pop e molto rock!

CLARESSA “T-REX” SHILEDS, 27 anni americana del Michigan, conosce bene le regole dell’incontro sul ring, ma nonostante sia in piena carriera non ha ancora dato una sola dimostrazione di essere Regina del Ring. Intendo che sa regnare oltre al record.

Certo io ce l’ho con lei…per i suoi trascorsi in cui non ha saputo e voluto imporre il fairplay, il rispetto dietro le quinte, prima del match vs la croata Ivana Habazin.

Vado oltre perché non ho simpatie o antipatie per l’uno o l’altro degli atleti di cui scrivo, è troppo complicato essere pugili per tifare, ma è risaputo sono allergica all’ingiustizia, alla prepotenza alla sopraffazione.

Sarà una notte torrida a dispetto del clima autunnale, così già freddo per le grandi problematiche economiche che vede Londra in picchiata.

Ma nessuno in Europa può sentirsi allegro, la guerra non fa bene a nessuno, ma gli amici ucraini così potenti nel cuore e che armi in pugno si battono per la libertà, la giustizia, la democrazia non sono argomenti di cui sorridere.

Chi ha occhi per vedere…

L’organizzazione é l’americana Top Rank di Bob Arum con l’inglese Ben Shalom di Boxxer.

Stanotte SHIELDS, tecnicamente più predisposta, già Medaglia d’Oro Olimpica a Londra 2012 e così Rio 2016. Da quando Pro ha conquistato le Cinture WBC, WBA, IBF, The Ring Magazine. Il suo record é di 12 vittorie di cui 2  via KO.

La britannica SAVANNAH “silent assassin” MARSHALL, 31 anni, più forte e più alta, picchia bene, picchia forte! É stata Medaglia d’Oro nel 2012 campionati mondiali dilettanti; e superato la stessa SHIELDS. Il confronto dilettanti, significa poco o nulla, ma da Pro ha vinto la Cintura WBO in 9 match.

Nella classifica sembra che la migliore sia MARSHALL, del resto il suo record immacolato- 12 vittorie di cui 10 via KO… ma allora credo imporrà il suo stile guerriera, mentre SHIELDS cercherà il confronto tecnico.

Entrambe abbaieranno forte!

Tutte e due sin qui arrivate ad essere ciò che volevano essere, stanotte ci emozioneranno per la cattiveria agonistica che ci si aspetta.

Queste ragazze non hanno limiti all’ambizione: essere regine incontrastate, e a lungo.

SHIELDS carattere dominante, vede la MARSHALL come l’ultimo ostacolo da superare. Non è meno per MARSHALL. Solo che la britannica ha classe, si esprime nel quadrato con colpi precisi, accurati.

SHIELDS non va oltre la tecnica impeccabile.

Da ogni angolatura voleranno cazzotti pesanti!

Sarà un match di logoramento, ad alta tensione, chi riesce per prima a far male davvero, una sola stilla di sangue, è il segnale del grido silenzioso del dolore. Non farci caso.

C’è l’arbitro.

Ribellandosi l’una all’altra toccano vette di passione, di orgoglio, il sangue è vita e dunque si battono per la vittoria.

E così arrivate alla fine del match, non vedo nessuna delle due andare al tappeto prima della fine del 10° e conclusivo round, forse assisteremo ad una trasfusione di felicità…

Le guerriere hanno godimenti dell’anima che noi umani non possiamo nemmeno immaginare…

Il sangue non è acqua.

E né l’uno e né l’altro match si tratterà di sangue di rabbia…ma sangue per la migliore competizione sportiva.

Se la battaglia sarà epica di quel sangue rimarrà memoria.

E il pugilato è vero. Lo sport è vero.

Il suolo del Ring è Londra, casa di MARSHALL. Ma anche casa si partenza della carriera sportiva di SHIELDS. Entrambe da Londra tra la fine del 2016 e inizio 2017 hanno lanciato il loro nome nei Pros.

Un investimento totale che ha dato onore, prestigio e gloria a tutto il movimento sportivo donne.

POST SCRIPTUM aggiornamento h 23:15  in Italia di oggi 15 Ottobre 

La campionessa WBC ALYCIA BAUMGARDNER vince ai punti, via SD, ha vinto bene, controllato il ring per sei round, i giudici hanno così dato i punteggi: 96-95, 96-95 su due cartellini, il terzo giudice ha dato a MAYER il punteggio di 97-93.

BAUMGARDNER  ha aggiunto i titoli IBF e WBO al suo bottino già prestigioso alla Cintura WBC, con una superba prestazione, in un match competitivo. Aggiungo una tacca alla mia previsione azzecata…

E il main event alle h 00:18 del 16 ottobre in Italia,

tra SHIELDS vs MARSHALL é stato un match molto equilibrato, dal risultato per me pari. I colpi puliti e precisi della Marshall mi sono sembrati più potenti. Non c’è niente di meglio che essere a bordo ring per giudicare.
Un incontro davvero rovente, tutta la tensione tra le due si è risolta sul finale con colpi feroci.
Il verdetto del punteggio dei giudici  96-94, 97-93 e  97-93 per CLARESSA SHIELDS che  così unifica tutta le Cinture dei Pesi Medi WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF. e The Ring Magazine.

FISTS FOR THE WOMEN WBC QUEEN ELIZABETH II BELT MIDDLEWEIGHT

Tonight the WBC Middleweight belt dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II is up for grabs

A great trophy to affirm the greatness, the women’s power.

And so I expect an evening of women with a temperament that overheats round after round…

At the 02 Arena in London just before the main event which usually culminates around midnight, there will be the fight between two other wonderful contenders, the WBO champion, IBF, and The Ring Magazine, the 32-year-old American from Colorado MIKAELA MAYER and from Michigan 28-year-old WBC champion ALYCIA BAUMGARDNER. The match is valid for the unification of the Junior Lightweight Title.

Impossible only a few years ago to think of a night so full of women only and concentrated on the main event.

The path has been traced and opened by formidable pioneers whose story really deserves a space that here is not enough.

The O2 Arena is a cult stadium, I have seen epic fights… and to fill it you need valuable contenders.

Tonight’s fight was already scheduled for October 15th, it has been canceled like any event in the UK to honor the national mourning for the disappearance of Queen Elizabeth II.

It must not have been easy at all to be Queen and for 70 years, among so many men.

The homage from all over the world was so great that even the most fervent republicans from all over the world could not fail to pay tribute to the posture of Elizabeth II, a royal, human, and social reference. Nobility is that rare virtue that comes from the heart … Not just from the scepter and crown.

This consideration is enough for me to compare the conquest of boxing girls to fighting as women, in an arena that hosts many prestigious fights. Of course, especially great matches between male superstars.

Tonight the American CLARESSA SHIELDS vs SAVANNAH MARSHALL, English.

Let’s get it right, no one better than the men in the Ring represents the hero in battle.

But women, those endowed with that inner severity, trained to fight for maximum confrontation in physical encounters, and thus risk action tactics reasoned in repeated thoughts, and obsessive training equally submits to absolute rules. Like men.

CLARESSA “T-REX” SHIELDS, 27 years old American from Michigan, knows the rules of the ring well, although she is in her full career she has not yet given a single demonstration of being Queen of the Ring. I mean she knows how to reign in addition to the flawless record.

I’m not really comfortable with her … of her past in which she didn’t know how and wanted to impose fair play, and respect behind the scenes, before the fight vs the Croatian Ivana Habazin.

I go further because I have no likes or dislikes for one or the other of the athletes I write about, it is too complicated to be a boxer to cheer on, but it is well known that I am allergic to injustice, arrogance to oppression.

It will be a hot night in spite of the autumn weather, already so cold for the big economic problems, an economy that sees London swooping.

But no one in Europe can feel happy, the war is not suitable for anyone, but Ukrainian friends so powerful in their hearts and arms in hand fighting for freedom, justice, and democracy are not topics to smile about.

Who has eyes to see …

The promoter is the American Top Rank of Bob Arum with the English Boxxer of Ben Shalom.

The British SAVANNAH “silent assassin” MARSHALL, 31 years old, stronger and taller, hits well, hits hard! She was Gold Medal in the 2012 amateur world championships; she passed the SHIELDS itself. The amateur comparison means little or nothing, as Pro won the WBO Belt in 9 fights.

In the ranking, it seems that the best is MARSHALL, after all her immaculate record of her – 12 wins of which 10 were via KO … but then I think she will impose her style of her warrior on her, while SHIELDS will seek to technical prevail.

They will both bark loudly!

Both of them have so far come to be what they wanted to be, tonight they will excite us for the competitive nastiness that is expected.

These girls have no limits to ambition: to be undisputed queens, and for a long time.

SHIELDS dominant character sees MARSHALL as the last obstacle to overcome. It’s no less for MARSHALL. Except that the British girl has class, she expresses herself in the square with precise, accurate strokes.

SHIELDS doesn’t go beyond flawless technique.

Heavy punches will fly at every angle!

It will be a fight of attrition, high tension, and who is the first to really hurt, a single drop of blood is the signal of the silent cry of pain. Pay no attention to it.

There is the referee.

Rebelling against each other, they touch peaks of passion and pride. And the blood is life, and therefore they fight for victory.

And so you get to the end of the fight I don’t see either of them go to the canvas before the end of the 10th and final round, maybe we will see a transfusion of happiness …

Warriors have soul pleasures that we humans cannot even imagine …

Blood is not water.

And neither fight will be the blood of anger … but blood for the best sporting competition.

If the battle is epic, that blood will remain a memory.

And boxing is true. Sport is real.

The ground of the Ring is London, home of MARSHALL. But also the starting point of SHIELDS ‘sporting career. Both from London in late 2016 and early 2017 launched their name in the Pros.

A total investment that has given honor, prestige, and glory to the entire women’s sports movement.

SAVANNAH MARSHALL via UD! But I wouldn’t be surprised if with a BANG she stops the American from Michigan, via TKO!

WBC champion ALYCIA BAUMGARDNER wins by points, via SD, she won well and controlled the ring for six rounds, the judges gave scores: of 96-95, and 96-95 on two cards, and the third judge gave MAYER a score of 97 -93.

BAUMGARDNER added the IBF and WBO titles to her already prestigious tally at the WBC Belt, with a superb performance, in a competitive fight. I add a notch to my prediction …

And the main event at 00:18 h on October 16th in Italy,

between SHIELDS vs MARSHALL was a very balanced match, with an even result for me. The clean and precise shots of the Marshall felt more powerful to me. There is nothing better than being at ringside to judge.
A really hot fight and all the tension between the two was resolved at the end with ferocious fists.
The verdict of the score of judges 96-94, 97-93, and 97-93 for CLARESSA SHIELDS thus unifies all the WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF Middleweight Belts. and The Ring Magazine.
An extraordinary night where all the Women protagonists of the Ring, the Women of Boxing have confirmed the path they are now inspiring women for the best expression of Noble Art.  A night to do it again… Queen Elizabeth II applauds …
