CANELO vs GOLOVKIN III UNA NOTTE DI ADRENALINA: ATTACCO O FUGA…
Una notte così tanto rinviata, Canelo il bulletto del pugilato, “bulletto” nella boxe vuol dire temerario oltre il necessario, insomma uno che ha più occhi che pancia, come ho scritto a proposito del suo ultimo match dove ha perso nettamente da uno più “stazzato”, di categoria di peso superiore, più potente e con colpi accurati e precisi, il Peso Massimo Leggero, il russo Dmitry Bivol.
Non c’era nessuna logica ragione che quel match si verificasse, dal punto di vista strettamente atletico-pugilistico. E anche per altro motivo, l’attualità della guerra in Ucraina che qui tutti in Europa sentiamo, viviamo e che i nostri Amici ucraini, al fronte in prima linea muoiono in nome della Democrazia, della Libertà, per i nostri stessi identici valori occidentali.
Quel match Bivol vs Canelo é stata più una figuraccia per Canelo, appunto da chi si crede senza limiti…é tutto qui il bullismo di SAUL “CANELO” ALVAREZ. Non proprio una lezione di Noble Art…
Ho sempre interpretato le scorribande in altre categorie di peso di CANELO quale tattica per evitare il temuto, meraviglioso, straordinario Kazako, che sin dalla Medaglia d’Oro dei Campionati Mondiali Dilettanti nel 2003 a Bangkok e poi Medaglia d’Argento alle Olimpiadii di Atene 2004.
Da Pro, GENNADY “GGG” GOLOVKIN è salito sin da subito ai vertici Europei, imponendosi con organizzazione tedesca, e poi via sotto l’organizzazione della K2 Promotion e di Tom Loeffer negli USA. GOLOVKIN ha conquistato unificando le Cinture IBF, WBA e WBC, Pesi Medi. L’ho visto in azione da Montecarlo al Madison Square Garden, sempre protagonista delle sue spettacolari performance.
Sempre in gran forma, allenato e concentrato il titolo dei suoi match è lo stesso: “Big Drama Show”. Proprio perché i suoi match si concludono tutti, o meglio quasi tutti con spettacolari KO! Infatti il suo record é di 42 match di cui 37 vinti via KO -1 perso, -1 pari.
Ma mettersi alla prova con l’impossibile, nessuno lo chiede, nessuno lo vuole, la Boxe non è più circo- ed io amo il circo- ma la boxe non ammette buffoni- non c’è nulla da ridere in un match di boxe, da quando il britannico marchese di Queensberry ha messo ordine con appunto le regole del marchese di Queensberry, la cui applicazione risalgono a oltre la metà dell’800…
Meno male che CANELO ha rimesso i piedi sulla terra e ha capito che il suo pubblico si era ormai allontanato per via degli inutili match con avversari o a fine carriera o non proprio di livello, e ancor di più si sono allontanati i suoi orgogliosi fans messicani, era ben chiaro a tutti che evitava il 3°match vs GGG, nella categoria a lui naturale: Pesi Medi.
I due avversari hanno finalmente concordato per la categoria dei Super Medi, entro i 76 Kg.
Per Golovkin è la prima volta il cambio di categoria di peso. Ieri venerdì 16 settembre alle operazioni di peso ufficiale, CANELO é salito sulla bilancia a circa Kg 75,900 mentre GGG Kg 76.
Entrambi si conosco bene, dopo 24 round…CANELO si crede giovane, e lo é, ma GOLOVKIN lo è davvero!
Va detto, i due non si sono mai amati. Stanotte sabato 17 settembre, la questione si risoverà sul ring. Si batteranno per le Cinture WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF.
Il Kazako GENNADY “GGG” GOLOVKIN ha compiuto 40 anni lo scorso aprile, il messicano SAUL “CANELO” ALVAREZ, 32 anni lo scorso luglio.
In questo 3° rematch che al di là dei giudizi dei verdetti strampalati, io come i più abbiamo visto sottratte le vincite al Kazako, a favore di CANELO davvero immeritatamente. sia nel primo match vinto nettamente da GGG, come nel secondo match, un pari, sarebbe stato un decente verdetto.
Dopo di che CANELO si è dato alla macchia in altre categorie di Peso. E così ha tirato alla lunga il più possibile questo terzo incontro, che ha il sapore della grande trilogia, di quando due avversari non si sono detti tutto sul ring.
E certo la latitanza nella categoria dll’unico avversario appettibile ha fatto tirare il collo al pubblico e così gli organizzatori hanno convinto CANELO che non poteva più sottrarsi al suo naturale rivale: GENNADY “GGG” GOLOVKIN.
Dunque se GGG non invecchia di colpo stanotte, CANELO non se la passerà bene sul ring di Las Vegas. Prevedo che entrambi ci trasmetteranno un alto tasso di adrenalina.
GGG è un dominatore del Ring, CANELO in tono minore anche.
La precisione al laser del Kazako se impone subito quel suo jab, doppio, triplo oltre al suo devastante artistico arsenale, a cui il messicano CANELO, un tipetto più suscettibile e reattivo, a cui non sa rispondere, lo abbiamo verificato molte volte, il match sarò tutto per GGG. Sicuro…???
Attacco o Fuga?
Immagino il Kazako studiare in prima/seconda ripresa, per poi far assaggiare al messicano la sua potenza. É più giovane CANELO resisterà. Ma non per 12 round.
CANELO abile nel mettere pressione, GGG presenza scolpita, atleticamente una preparazione impeccabile, ed è impressionanate quando sprigiona potenza, è uno che fa male davvero. Tra i migliori picchiatori di tutti i tempi, non c’è dubbio! Questo è il motivo per cui per tanti anni, ben quattro, é stato l’avversario da tenere lontano.
Il Kazako GGG è noto per la grande classe innata e fairplay, mai visto infierire su un avversario. Potenza fisica, e potente sensibilità…
Ma questa é la notte della resa dei conti, CANELO non può aspettarsi che una grande perfomance da parte di GGG.
La rabbia di quel mancato appuntamento e di quei verdetti ingiusti, non hanno reso meno nobile l’Uomo GGG, ma lo stesso agirà senza nessuna pietà per CANELO.
E la “cattiveria” atletica, é il castigo con cui GGG intende sottomettere l’avversario, sono certa sarà al suo apice.
Una bella categoria quella dei Pesi Medi da sempre, ma certo anche dei Super Medi. Velocità e potenza sono il racconto di grandi avversari.
Sino al 2008 i Pesi Super Medi, una categoria dominata da Joe Calzaghe tra i più grandi della Storia. Un Papà straordinario lo ha allenato sempre al suo angolo, Enzo Calzaghe, emigrato da Sassari, in Sardegna, per il Regno Unito.
Si è fermato a Cardiff e smesso di strimpellare la chitarra, ha cresciuto suo figlio in palestra, insieme hanno conquistato il mondo letteralmente.
Una carriera iridata per l’italo-inglese con 46 match vinti in perla all’altro, secondo solo all’italo-americano Rocky Marciano e così Floyd Mayweather.
E in questi giorni di lutto per il Regno Unito, mi piace ricordare il riconoscimento CBE, che Joe Calzaghe ha ricevuto dalla Regina Elisabetta a Buckingham Palace nel novembre del 2008, per lo Sport e il servizio volontario in Galles. Un po’ di Italia sportiva è stata riconosciuta nel merito, mentra in Italia non se ne è accorto nessuno…Troppo spesso dimenticati i nostri Italiani che vivono all’estero. In loro tutti quelli che ho conosciuto é intatto l’amore per la nostra Italia.
No, non mi perdo é che é così ricca la Cultura della Boxe che non posso sorvolare…mentre la Storia scorre.
E allora chi vince questa notte alla T-Mobile Arena di Las Vegas tra GGG vs CANELO?
Il WBC per questo match ha fatto creare una cintura strabiliante, commemorativa titolata all’eroe locale messicano, Guerrero Jaguar Zapoteca.
Le religioni di tutto il mondo si sono date appuntamento nella splendida capitale del Kazakistan, Nur Sultan, in un Congresso dei Leader delle Religioni Mondiali e Tradizionali. Papa Francesco, ha detto che “la guerra non sia giustificata dalla sacralità della fede, la guerra non ha nulla a che fare con lo spirito religioso.” E poi ha baciato la bandiera Ucraina.
Il confronto sul Ring è la più alta espressione della forza atletica, e mentale e dunque su chi scommetto il mio caffé?
GGG ha una mascella di cemento, tipica solo degli introspettivi. CANELO non può perdere la faccia.
Per la mia logica e sensibilità sportiva non c’è dubbio, sul più motivato e talentuoso: GENNADY “GGG” GOLOVKIN, via KO!

VINCE CANELO AI PUNTI!
Quattro lunghi anni dopo la loro scintillante rivincita, la rivalità si conclude con un finale poco brillante. Sebbene i punteggi, 116-112 e 115-113 (due volte), siano equilibrati. I 40 anni di GGG, il Tempo, non sono stati gentili con lui.
Solo i ciechi lo penserebbero. É lo stesso Golovkin che ha combattuto Canelo nei primi due incontri… Nooooo! GGG tutto concentrato sulla difesa, negli ultimi 3 round va forte ma non
abbastanza. Match deludente, avrebbe dovuto succedere subito dopo il 2° match del 2018, non attendere 4 lunghi anni, intanto che la forza della gioventù di GGG lascia inevitabilmente.
La carriera di Canelo é cominciata, tutta incentrata su avversari a fine carriera e qui non ha fatto altro che attendere che l’Uomo GGG fosse “cotto” al punto giusto.
Anche Roger Federer si è ritirato due giorni fa dal Tennis, a 41 anni. Per dire …

CANELO vs GOLOVKIN III AN ADRENALINE NIGHT: ATTACK OR ESCAPE …

Kazakh GENNADY “GGG” GOLOVKIN turned 40 last April, and Mexican SAUL “CANELO” ALVAREZ, 32 last July.
In this 3rd rematch that beyond the judgments of the odd verdicts, I, like most, have seen the winnings subtracted from the Kazakh, in favor of CANELO really undeservedly. both in the first match clearly won by GGG, as in the second match, a draw would have been a decent verdict.

CANELO WINS ON POINTS!
Four long years after their brilliant rematch, the rivalry ends with a lackluster ending. Although the scores, 116-112 and 115-113 (twice), are closer. The 40 years of GGG, the father’s time have not been kind to him.
