Quando scrivo della bellezza di noi donne, non occupandomi di “beauty”,  non sottolineo solo il fattore fisico che è soggettivo, e dunque ognuno ha il suo riferimento, e come si dice:” la bellezza è negli di chi guarda”….Ma con BELLA intendo quei fattori che rendono una donna in qualche modo “unica”, con quegli attributi di valori che impediscono il compromesso del tipo, “lo Sport è una pausa di relax, dunque facciamo finta che la guerra non c’è… ”

La sciabolatrice ucraina OLGA KHARLAN qui nella mia Milano per il Campionato Mondiale di Scherma, sottolineo che Milano ha una grande tradizione nella scherma, dove ancora oggi il massimo medagliere per l’Italia, 13 Medaglie d’Oro è detenuto da Edoardo Mangiarotti che ho avuto modo di conoscere e frequentare, quale amico di famiglia.

L’ucraina OLGA KHARLAN, ha avuto un motto di orgoglio così istintivo, così protettivo nei confronti dei suoi connazionali che sono al fronte, in guerra contro l’aggressore russo, che vinto in pedana vs la sciabolatrice russa ANNA  SMIRNOVA, si è rifiutata di stringerle la mano. Le ha semplicemente toccato la sciabola. Quel rifiuto, un gesto plateale che in un primo momento le è costato la squalifica. Errore, miopia evidente della Federazione Scherma.

Il sangue ucraino non è acqua. Scorre in difesa non solo dell’Ucraina, ma sta difendendo i confini di tutta l’Europa e i valori della democrazia, di noi occidentali.

Ma ieri è stata riabilitata. E così potrà proseguire nelle gare. Il Presidente dei Giochi Olimpici THOMAS BACH già ex- schermitore, le ha scritto una lettera, e già questo riempie il cuore di OLGA che deve essere un tumulto di emozioni, e le ha confermato che comunque andrà parteciperà alle Olimpiadi Parigi.

OLGA KHARLAN già vincitrice in squadra ai Giochi Olimpici di Pechino 2008, con quel carattere determinato credo proprio che ci andrà per suo merito, e quell’appoggio del CIO intendo, BACH.. forse ha compreso che la neutralità in tempo di guerra, alle Olimpiadi non può esistere.

Nel pugilato PRO, Il WBC- Consiglio Mondiale di Pugilato -ha escluso le competizioni con i pugili e territori russi, già dall’inizio della guerra.

Per il pugilato dilettanti, l’organizzazione IBA o ex-AIBA è stata recentemente esclusa dai Giochi Olimpici, come vi ho ampiamente riportato. E la metà delle nazioni circa, non partecipano ai campionati dilettanti, che il russo Kremlev si ostina ad organizzare…

Se non è il massimo rappresentante della Russia, PUTIN a porgere le mano al massimo rappresentante politico dell’Ucraina, ZELENSKY. La stretta di mano tra OLGA e ANNA sarebbe stata solo una forzatura ipocrita, che sottolineava che lo Sport è una nuvola, un’ isola felice dove non c’è spazio per la realtà.

BELLISSIMA OLGA KHARLAN, grazie di vivere in Italia, e di rappresentare la tua nazione l’UCRAINA, con onore e con gloria!

BEAUTIFUL OLGA KHARLAN!

When I write about the beauty of us women, not dealing with “beauty”, I don’t only underline the physical factor which is subjective, and therefore everyone has their own reference, and as they say: “beauty is in the beholder’s”…But with BEAUTIFUL I mean those factors that make a woman somehow “unique”, with those attributes of values that prevent compromise “Sport is a relaxing break, so let’s pretend there is no war…”

The Ukrainian saber OLGA KHARLAN is here in my Milano for the World Fencing Championship, I emphasize that Milano has a great tradition in fencing, where even today the top medal collection for Italy, 13 Gold Medals is held by Edoardo Mangiarotti who I had a way of knowing and attending, as a family friend.

The Ukrainian OLGA KHARLAN had such an instinctive motto of pride, so protective of her compatriots who are at the front war against the Russian aggressor, who won on the platform against the Russian saber ANNA SMIRNOVA, she refused to shake her hand. She just touched the saber—that refusal, a blatant gesture that initially cost her the disqualification. Error, obvious shortsightedness of the Fencing Federation.
