Addio a DARIO FO, il più grande attore teatrale italiano, immenso giullare, gigante della scrittura per il teatro. Politico vincitore del Premio Nobel per la Letteratura nel 1997. Di Varese come me. Le sue opere sono tradotte in tutto il mondo.

Politicamente ‘scorretto’. E’ accettabile in un arco di vita di 90 anni. Tutto si trasforma e anche qualcuno di noi. Per molti anni gli fu negato il visto per gli Stati Uniti. Più che mai le sue opere vennero rappresentate in tutto il mondo.

OGGI BOB DYLAN vince il PREMIO NOBEL PER LA LETTERATURA. Strano che a vincere sia un cantautore…noh?

L’Arte, la Cultura, lo Sport ci migliorano la vita. DARIO FO ha ricevuto il Nobel perché ha raccolto e rielaborato racconti medievali italiani, li ha reinterpretati inventando un suo linguaggio espressivo e lessicale, li ha rappresentati in teatro e nei media e ha fatto conoscere una parte della nostra cultura in tutto il mondo, si è occupato di un settore inedito della nostra produzione culturale esprimendosi ai massimi livelli. Un gigante geniale.

Farewell to DARIO FO, the greatest Italian stage actor, immense jester, and giant of writing for the theater. It was a political Nobel Prize for Literature in 1997. From Varese like me. He has been translated all over the world.

Politically ‘incorrect’. It’s acceptable in a lifetime of 90 years. Everything changes, and so do some of us. For many years he was denied a visa to the United States. More than ever, his works were shown around the world. TODAY BOB DYLAN WINS THE NOBEL PRIZE FOR LITERATURE. It’s a bit at least peculiar that a songwriter wins…noh?

Arts, Culture, and Sports make our life much better. DARIO FO took the Nobel because it has collected and reworked Italian medieval tales, and reinterpreted them by inventing his expressive language and vocabulary. He has represented them in the theater and in the media and has made known a part of our culture around the world, has It dealt with an unprecedented area of our cultural production expressing the highest levels. A genial giant.
