ABBIAMO BISOGNO DI PIÙ RAGAZZI COSÍ…

Sono tra Sergio ed Edoardo ieri sera 18 11 22 alla presentazione della 2° edizione del mio libro, a BookCity Milano al Teatro Parenti. Non abbiamo fatto il pieno che ci auguravamo, credo che l’accavallarsi di quasi 1.400 eventi di BookCity in 5 giorni sia davvero un po’ troppo. E il venerdì alle 18:30 é l’orario fatidico in cui i più staccano dal lavoro per il fine settimana. Ma BookCity é così entusiasmante…

Sergio alla mia dx é ucraino ha 27 anni e fa il tornitore, insomma operaio specializzato. Edoardo 21 anni è studente in Bocconi, insomma un fighetto. Entrambi si allenano in una vera palestra di boxe, la MGM di …Milano! Non di quelle fitness, dei miracoli…ma proprio dove l’odore acre ti assale e il salone é pieno di ragazzi che si danno un grandaffare. Corde, sacchi, punching ball, sparring sul ring, e lui Cristian il maestro lì ogni giorno della settimana. Per chi ci crede lui c’è.

Abbiamo chiacchierato a lungo, una bella serata, con tutto il profondo senso della boxe. Mi auguro che i due mondi apparentemente così lontani, nelle loro vite si avvicinano, perché davvero non c’è nulla di scontato. E magari tra qualche anno, letto il mio libro, riguardando queste foto, ricordando le nostre parole, potranno dire che hanno consolidato un’amicizia.

E forse entrambi anche scavalcato le corde di un ring…Mica facile diventare campioni di boxe. Ma almeno si sono frequentati in un ambiente sano.

La boxe richiede dei valori altissimi che devi fare tuoi. Perseguirli. Le parole servono ma non bastano, bisogna crederci.

Ecco abbiamo bisogno di più ragazzi così e non pantomime di mafia, di decadenza trapper, baby gang di bulli incapaci di affrontare la vita. Sergio e Edoardo due bei ragazzi dentro e fuori. Anche questa é Cultura dello Sport.

WE NEED MORE GUYS LIKE THESE…

Last night 18 11 2022, I’m between Sergio and Edoardo at the presentation of the 2nd edition of my book, at BookCity Milano at the Parenti Theater. We didn’t fill up as we hoped, I think the overlapping of almost 1,400 events in 5 days of BookCity events, is really a bit too much. And Fridays at 18:30 are the fateful time when most people leave work for the weekend. But BookCity is so exciting…

Sergio to my right is Ukrainian, he is 27 years old and works as a turner, in short, a skilled worker. Edoardo 21 years old is a student at Bocconi, in short, a coolie…They train in a real boxing gym, the MGM in…Milano! Ropes, bags, punching ball, ring sparring, and Cristian the trainer is there every day of the week. For those who believe in it, he is there.

We spoke for a time, a lovely evening, with all the deep boxing sense. I hope that the two worlds, apparently so far apart, will get closer in their lives, because nothing really can be taken for granted. And maybe in a few years, reading my book, looking at these photos, and remembering our words, they will be able to say that they have consolidated a friendship.

And why not both jump over the ring ropes? It’s not easy to become a boxing champion. But at least they dated in a healthy environment.

Boxing requires very high values that you have to make your own. Pursue them. Words are needed but they are not enough, you have to believe in them.

Here we need more guys like this and not mafia pantomimes, trapper decadence, or baby gangs of bullies unable to face life. Sergio and Edoardo are two handsome boys inside and out. This is also Sports Culture.
